BAIC Group’s Brand Value Tops 18 Billion USD, Ranked 19th in China’s Top500 Brands

On June 16, the “World Brand Lab”, an international leading brand research institution, unveiled “The 12thChina’s 500 Most Valuable Brands 2015” ranking list in Beijing, China, in which BAIC Group was ranked 19th with its brand value of 112.669 billion RMB(about 18 billion USD). Compared with last year’s brand value (of 98.675 billion RMB), BAIC Group’s brand value has increased by 14.2%, staying firmly in the top three of China’s most valuable automobile enterprises.

In the past year, BAIC Group has actively boosted the collectivized and internationalized enterprise development strategy, carried out strategic transformation from a traditional automobile manufacturing enterprise to a service-oriented manufacturing and innovative enterprise, and further promoted the brand building of the whole group.

The sales of finished automobiles reached 2.401 million throughout the whole year of 2014,up 10.9%YoY. On December 19, 2014, BAIC Motor Corporation Ltd. was listed in Hong Kong Stock Exchange, which provides BAIC Motor with an access to international financing. Through integrating advantageous resources across the world, improving production distribution at home and expediting internationalization strategy, BAIC lays a solid foundation and makes the Group Brand enter the international stage.
